How to use

Tap "Start compass" and grant location + motion permission.
Hold the phone flat in your palm.
Tap "Calibrate" and rotate your wrist in a figure-8 shape for 6 seconds.
Rotate slowly until the 🕋 arrow aligns with the red reticle.
When the dial glows gold and your phone vibrates, you are facing the Qibla.
Use AR camera to overlay the compass on the world in front of you.

Calibration tips

• Move the phone in a figure-8 motion to calibrate the magnetometer.
• Stay away from iron, magnets, speakers and laptops.
• Remove magnetic phone cases and pop-sockets.
• Step outside if the signal is unstable indoors.
• Cross-check using the sun or moon direction shown above.
• Enable "True north" in settings to apply magnetic declination.

About the Qibla

The Qibla is the direction of the holy Kaaba in Makkah al-Mukarramah — the direction Muslims face during prayer. Allah ﷻ said:

فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ
